Friday - Last Day of 4-H Day Camp

Today was very easygoing and exciting. It was the last day of camp for everyone but over the past two days it has brought so many memories and bonds. The day involved tours of horses and a petting zoo with various animals. The campers got to make slap bracelets and friendship bracelets/necklaces. The most exciting part was us going to the beach. It was a beautiful area and the campers really appreciated this small act of kindness. The day camp ended and it truly was an amazing experience for everyone there.

Today we went to the beach with the kids and it was interesting to see how excited they were to go to the beach, because they live on an island you would think they would go all the time but apparently not because most of the beaches are owned by hotels.

We also built sling shots with the kids and it was cool seeing how they take their time on things and j ust enjoy what they are doing versus in America we're very fast paced and get the job done.

My favorite part about Friday was getting to hang out with Joshua.  He was my little buddy the whole day and followed me around.  I loved how happy he was playing with the catapults and on the beach.  Language barriers weren't really a problem.  I hope to see him again next year.
